Bill Borrett has been temporarily removed from the group after voting against a £1bn devolution deal, which will include the creation of a cross-county mayorship.

The former leader of the authority was one of only two councillors to object to the plans at a Norfolk county council meeting earlier this month, which he says was "not a political act".
