Simon Ring, deputy leader of West Norfolk Council, has made the intervention following crunch talks between Clenchwarton Football Club and the parish council to resolve an ongoing dispute over rent.

Clenchwarton FC's players have been stopped from playing on its pitches after refusing to sign a new agreement that sought to increase the charges for using the playing fields.........
