Alexandra Kemp, councillor for South Lynn, has urged West Norfolk Council to rethink its plans to move the facility from the centre of King's Lynn.

The independent-controlled authority wants to build it in the north east near Gaywood at the existing Lynnsport leisure centre, which would undergo a revamp to accommodate it.

But Ms Kemp, who is part of the Progressive group at the council, worries the new location will mean people in South Lynn will have to take two buses to get there.
