Future of flagship Norfolk footpath in limbo amid fears section will never reopen
Walkers have been unable to travel the full length of the original Wherryman's Way route since 2015 after two bridges at Hardley Flood, near Loddon, were shut after becoming eroded.
It has meant hikers have faced a lengthy diversion and have also been unable to pass through the 123-acre nature reserve via the banks of the River Chet.
Plans to repair two footbridges were approved last year.

But the project has since stalled after it was discovered that frequent flooding has caused more damage than first........
