Former UEA academic who cost taxpayer millions of pounds accuses PM of 'bullying'
Dr Andrew Boswell, who led a fruitless campaign to block the road improvements over environmental fears, had been singled out by Sir Keir Starmer as he announced plans to curb "nimbyism" from holding up major construction projects.
The former Green councillor's long-running bid to stop four upgrade schemes on the A47 was used by the prime minister as an example to bolster support for his ambition to stop "challenge culture" through changes to the planning system.
