Fears tourism could suffer in parts of Norfolk due to council restructure

While there remains uncertainty about what the final plans will be, officials have signalled one or multiple unitary authorities will be created as part of the government's devolution plans.

Tim Adams, leader of North Norfolk District Council, warned this will mean Norfolk County Council's £900m debt will have to be absorbed, which would cut the cash available for discretionary services such as tourism facilities and public toilets.
