North Norfolk District Council development committee members have approved two schemes in Stalham, which will create 61 flats offering supported independent living for older people and 40 affordable homes on land off Yarmouth Road.

The proposals by Medcentre had previously stalled three years ago due to last-minute advice from Natural England, warning the developer will need to find ways to mitigate the potential for water pollution, in order to meet nutrient neutrality requirements.
