Estate to sell off farmland to allow homes to be built
The Langley Abbey Estate, near Loddon, is to offer nearly four hectares of grassland and three kilometres of ditches to be bought as 'biodiversity net gain (BNG)' units.
These parcels of land could become new areas of fenland, reed beds, grazing marsh and wet woodland.
