North Norfolk District Council has agreed to spend £120,000 on various measures aiming to remove the invasive plant species at Overstrand.

The harmful plant is known to cause damage to buildings due to its penetrating roots.

But it is also threatening the stability of the cliffs, which are frequently slipping........
