City investor defends plans to demolish second home neighbouring elderly couple
Naomi Clark, a pension fund manager from London, insists she will do "everything we can to minimise disruption" to her Burnham Market neighbours Ivy Wells, 87, and her husband David, 92.
More than 100 people have objected to her bid to raze the ex-council house in Walkers Close after the couple, who have lived in their home for 60 years, spoke of the distress the project would cause.

The semi-detached properties are separated by a thin party wall just nine inches thick, leaving them worrying the "banging, drilling and demolishing" would leave them feeling unsafe in their home.
Ms Clark's second home dreams stirred frustrations in the exclusive village, which has been at the centre of a fierce backlash over second homes and holiday lets.
Residents overwhelmingly voted to curb them in a 2023 referendum.
