Campers disturbed by bird scarers at 5am as row with gamekeeper rumbles on

Nigel Marsh, who runs the destination in Edgefield as part of his holiday company, My Mini Break, has said customers are leaving bad reviews due to the devices going off.

He says they have been placed close to his venue at Dam Hill Plantation since last year and have continued to disturb his guests for another summer.

He attempted to report the noise by complaining to North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) but the authority was unable to take action due to the site not being a permanent residence.

The gas guns, which can reach up to 130 decibels, stopped being let off at the end of August.

Reviews complained about the bird scarers beginning at 5am and lasting until 11.30pm. One said it seemed "they were right by our heads".

Another said they gave a lower score because of "monotonous explosion noises from a local farm," which........
