Boaters warn they may soon be barred from little known broad (with wherry graveyard)
They say that Bargate Broad, near Surlingham, has become difficult for vessels to reach because plants in the water have grown so thick.
Leslie Mogford, a Broads Authority member, raised concerns at a recent navigation committee meeting, saying the weeds, particularly yellow lilies, can get caught up in propellers.
The broad is connected to the Yare near Brundall, which is home to several large marinas.
