Bid to build new swimming pool threatened to be held up by contract wrangle
North Norfolk District Council's (NNDC) Liberal Democrat-controlled cabinet has agreed to pursue awarding a contract to developer Alliance Leisure Services to deliver the new facility in Fakenham.
However, the £11.63m scheme, which is due to commence imminently, has been at risk of facing delays as the local town council is yet to agree arrangements for the leasing of land it owns.
