'It's like The Archers on speed'... Rift in village erupts over gastropub's success
And for many in the village of Great Massingham, they believe the success of the Dabbling Duck pub is key to why it remains a lively community.
But the booming business, which is regularly visited by A-listers, is also driving a rift that is threatening its peace and tranquillity.

Tensions have flared in recent years over the Dabbling Duck's ever-growing number of customers, which has sparked a debate over where they should park.
Owners Mark and Sally Dobby hoped that creating an overflow car park at the rear would help solve the growing problem of dozens of cars descending on the pristine village green and roads outside each weekend.

But their plans were met with backlash after more than 60 letters of objection were sent to West Norfolk Council, with people claiming it could pose a fire risk to the village nestled between Fakenham and King's Lynn.
The rumbling row has led one villager, who wished to remain anonymous to avoid retribution, to describe the atmosphere as like "The Archers on speed".
However, some villagers speculate that it is a small number of people stirring up trouble and that the root cause of their frustrations is over their local tavern becoming a gastropub.

The Dabbling Duck offers high-quality food that has impressed the likes of the Prince and Princess of Wales and Sir Alan Sugar.
But for some, this cultural shift has put them off.
Max Pratt, 68, said: "There is a divide. It became a gastropub and is a great place to eat at but some see it as becoming too exclusive and some locals don't have the budget for it.
