Revised plans have been lodged that could see a scheme "to regenerate a rundown area" of the town - provided proposals get the go-ahead.

Fresh proposals centring around "16 residential units" being created "together with associated access, car parking, cycle parking, infrastructure and landscaping" at The Foundry on Lake View Road have been submitted to East Suffolk Council.

The revised bid comes after a previous application was lodged with the council in May 2023 which earmarked nine homes and industrial units being created.
