Stunning sculptures showcased on town beach ahead of major festival
As First Light Festival hits venues across Lowestoft on Saturday and Sunday for 2026, preparations are gathering pace as the UK’s only free beach festival returns.
Organised by First Light CIC, the multi-arts beach festival is being held for the sixth time as 24 stages and festival spaces are spread across South Beach in Lowestoft, the seafront, promenade and nearby Kensington Gardens and East Point Pavilion.
And ahead of the summer solstice weekend, British sculptor Laurence Edwards' two stunning works are being displayed as part of the eagerly-awaited festival.
