Plans to unveil a sign on the approach to Lowestoft have been turned down.

An application centring around "Non-Illuminated Advertisement Consent" for the "Persimmon Homes Anglia - Woods Meadow off-site signage" on land west of London Road was submitted to East Suffolk Council in April.

However the bid was refused this week by East Suffolk Council under delegated powers.

The scheme lodged by Ms Debi Sherman, for the applicant Persimmon Homes (Anglia) sought advertisement consent for "a non-illuminated........
