Seafront complex costs soar to £6m as festival deadline slips
However the redevelopment of Jubilee Parade on Lowestoft's seafront is now expected to cost £6m instead of £4.9m amid increased costs and will not be completed in time for a major town festival.

With the new complex set to "greatly improve the facilities on offer" on Lowestoft's south beach, it will see an "exciting" new two-storey restaurant and café complex being built at Jubilee Parade on the seafront, with three new leisure concession units on the ground floor, new toilets and a Changing Places facility.
