As carnival fever returns to Lowestoft for the first time in more than 12 years, organisers have revealed an exciting aerial climax to it.

Aerobatic displays will "bring back a flavour" of the popular Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival that attracted hundreds of thousands of people as it ran for 16 years.

Three air displays will soar over the town skies once more at the end of the carnival parade on Sunday, August 17.

The organisers of the 2025 Lowestoft Carnival said the "special event" will be one of the highlights of the weekend after previous plans for a fireworks spectacular were scuppered by nesting kittiwakes.
