Meet the Lowestoft man who has a day named after him for amazing fundraising work
That is the cry of the American city of Santa Cruz which has taken a former Suffolk man to its heart.
Rod Caborn's incredible fundraising feats and dedication to others in the USA have now been honoured in his adopted home country.
The former Oulton Broad man has raised an amazing $26m for good causes in California over the course of 30 years.
Now 65, the state of California has paid tribute to his amazing work.
Honouring the significant contributions he has made, the City of Santa Cruz, the County of Santa Cruz and the State of California officially declared November 20 as Rod Caborn Day last week.

Hailing from Dixon Drive in Oulton Broad, keen sportsman Mr Caborn attended the former Dell Road Primary School and Norwich School before gaining a BA Honours degree in Business Studies at Sheffield University in 1983.
During his time in Sheffield he and fellow Lowestoft and Yarmouth rugby player, Kevin Green, were selected to play professional rugby for FC Barcelona in Spain, in........
