The £146m Gull Wing bridge is in the running for yet another top honour.

It has been shortlisted for the 2025 Concrete Society Awards, which recognises excellence in concrete design and construction.

The crossing won the 2025 Bridges Design and Construction Award for projects over £10 million in March - beating Great Yarmouth's Herring Bridge in the process.

Last month it received a 'Highly Commended' honour at the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) awards in London.
