The Department for Transport’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) has started an investigation following the collision that happened around 30 miles (48km) from Lowestoft last month.

The MAIB said it happened on September 19, about 12.35pm, when the crew transfer vessel (CTV) Iceni Legend was in collision with a survey-class uncrewed surface vessel (USV) in a UK offshore windfarm.
