Holiday park could get more than 300 caravan pitches
As work continues to transform Pontins Pakefield Holiday Village near Lowestoft and provide accommodation for about 500 workers who will be constructing a nuclear power station nearby, new plans have been unveiled.
Since January, as part of a "legacy" impact for the area, Sizewell C have been carrying out a significant refurbishment of the site as it provides temporary worker accommodation over a 10-year period during the construction period for the nuclear power plant.
With the existing chalet accommodation at the Pakefield Holiday Village available, and already in use, for the Sizewell C construction workers, a new development has been proposed for the site on London Road, Gisleham.
