Giant crane moves in as warehouse work starts at UK's most easterly port

A crane has been spotted as a new structure is being progressed at Associated British Ports’ (ABP) Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility (LEEF) in Lowestoft.

The £35m LEEF site is overseen by port owner and operator ABP, with the facility completed in late 2024, and officially opened in January last year by the secretary of state for energy and net zero Ed Miliband.
