And now Lowestoft is being associated with elves and evil orcs thanks to a set of new books set in the town.

A fast-paced romance fantasy adventure series complete with magic and danger and town landmarks is proving a hit.

They are by Alice Taylor - a former mayor of Lowestoft, businesswoman and a trustee of the Excelsior Trust.

She is now an author, after penning The Return of the Tribes' fantasy fiction series.
