Energy secretary visits 100 job creation site at country's most easterly port
With Lowestoft set to be the long-term home for major offshore wind projects - as this newspaper revealed last September - green energy company ScottishPower Renewables sealed a multi-million pound investment signalling a jobs boost on the east coast.
The company invested £8m to expand its presence as it acquired a new site on Lowestoft's PowerPark.
The new base at Trinity Road is expected to completed next year, as it creates around 100 jobs and provides an operations and maintenance base for the East Anglia THREE offshore windfarm.
