Demolition works under way as plans for 'much-needed' town centre homes progress
Demolition work has started at The Conge as plans for more than 80 new homes in Great Yarmouth town centre progress.
The regeneration plan for The Conge involves former industrial buildings being knocked down to make way for 82 new homes, including apartments and townhouses.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) had acquired leases from businesses on the south side of The Conge from 2020 and began demolition works in 2024.
