Leading telecommunications company EE Ltd launched a consultation earlier this month as it seeks opinions ahead of a Lowestoft planning bid.

But the consultation has sparked concerns about the potential impact on "designated heritage assets" by an Esso garage

A consultation letter to East Suffolk Council said the "proposed site" centres around the installation of a "telecommunications base station comprising of a 20m high monopole with a wrap around cabinet at the base."
