Bid for 350 new homes on former factory sites move forward
A waterfront regeneration scheme that earmarks up to 350 new homes to be built on brownfield land in south Lowestoft has moved closer to reality.

Extensive work has been carried out over recent years on the planning and logistics of the scheme for the former Sanyo and Survitec factory sites that have been vacant since 2009 on either side of School Road.

Sanyo closed its television factory in February 2009 with the loss of 60 jobs.
