Bank branch with 600 customers a month is to close later this year
The Lowestoft branch of Halifax, on London Road North, is set to close its doors for the final time on October 29.
The branch at 150 London Road North will be shutting as part of a cull that will see 55 other Halifax branches closing.
Lloyds Banking Group, which owns Halifax, said that with the pivot to online banking footfall in branches has plummeted.
