Applicants Mr and Mrs A Power lodged plans with East Suffolk Council in October last year to knock down the vacant former RNLI social club and unveil a "high quality building" in its place.

But plans to breathe new life into the derelict former Lowestoft RNLI Lifeboat Crew Association social club building on Links Road, Lowestoft - which has been empty for a number of years - were refused by East Suffolk Council under delegated powers in December last year.
