Improved facilities are proposed in Lowestoft after Suffolk County FA received a festive funding boost.

They were one of eight sports clubs and community projects in the East of England to benefit from more than £3.5m of funding awarded just after Christmas as part of the government's Plan for Change initiative.

And with £446,600 earmarked for a refurbishment project at Barnards Meadow Football Centre in Lowestoft, new plans have now been submitted.
