£12m project to transform town hall to start next month
The restoration and extension of the Grade II listed Lowestoft Town Hall will begin in February after a significant further funding boost this week.
Having been vacant and unoccupied for almost a decade, the landmark Town Hall in Lowestoft is now set for a new lease of life.
It comes after Lowestoft Town Council secured a £1.2m grant increase from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for the Town Hall regeneration project.
Owned by Lowestoft Town Council since 2017, the building has been "in a poor and rapidly deteriorating condition"........
