Campbell and Sheila Welsh died on December 22 after being struck by a car on the A148 while leaving a carol service at All Saints Church in High Kelling.

A photograph of the couple has now been published as part of a road safety petition that has been launched by their granddaughter.

The petition, launched by Izzie Welsh, calls for much-needed safety improvements to the A148, a road widely considered dangerous.

Her petition also pays tribute to her grandparents.

It says: "My grandparents were extraordinary individuals—dedicated, compassionate, and deeply committed to supporting their community.

"Their contributions touched countless lives, and their absence is an immeasurable loss to all who knew them.
