Officials unclear about when flag graffiti will be removed

Last week, amid a spate of clashes between flaggers and outraged locals, red marks appeared on a crossing by Chapelfield Gardens, transforming its white blocks into St George's flags.

Locals have expressed outrage over the makeshift St George symbols painted on the road, calling for the council to clamp down on the displays.

However, Norfolk County Council has not given a clear answer as to when the graffiti will be removed.
