Norfolk villagers complain about cavalier courier who leaves their parcels Evri-where

But a Norfolk delivery driver has created a whole new challenge for customers in one corner of the county.

Locals in a string of villages along the north Norfolk coast are having to go to extraordinary lengths to recover their parcels because they are being left in such random places.

They have been placed in hedges, on paths, on roads, in undergrowth and even in bins - sometimes up to 200 metres from the correct address. A parcel left on the ground (Image: Submitted)

In some areas, locals have formed search parties to go scouring for missing parcels, while kindly neighbours have taken to redelivering items they find dotted around their villages.

On some mornings, residents awake to find streets littered with packages dotted along them in random spots.

The issues have affected a large swathe of coastal communities, with reports from Morston, Blakeney, Field Dalling, Kelling, Weybourne, Holkham, Stiffkey, Langham and Cley, as well as the towns of Holt and Wells.

Reports of rogue deliveries flooded in from Blakeney (Image: Archant) Community Facebook pages in the area have been chronicling people's experiences, with hundreds of messages about the issue.

The webpages also operate as a notice board for villagers to report finding random parcels and post details about missing ones, to help put people together with their packages.

Many of the rogue deliveries are made at night, leaving people scrabbling........
