People living in Old Warren, Taverham have expressed their sadness at the death of the man, who was in his 40s.

Police said the incident is now a coronial led investigation.

Anita Blunden,73, whose home backs onto property that was on fire, said: " We are deeply saddened by it.

"I think it has shaken the community.

"We do not know the neighbours next door but it must have been terrible."

Her husband Alfred, 77, added: "You just feel helpless, sitting there and watching it hoping there is nobody inside.
