Fears 'trojan horse' development could turn picturesque area into 'concrete jungle'
The scheme, which would back onto the River Wensum near Costessey Pits at Taverham, would be made up of three detached homes on large plots with big gardens.
However, those living in Taverham Road opposite the earmarked land have rallied against the project, fearing it would open the floodgates for further development on the site and along the Wensum.

'TROJAN HORSE'
Jeff Stephens, 69, who lives on Taverham Road, said: "It is too suspicious.
"I think it is a Trojan horse.
"The plots are too big to be for one house each, and once you have got planning for one it is a lot easier to get the rest.
