A man’s body was pulled from the river near the Foundry Bridge, opposite Norwich Railway Station, just after lunchtime.

It is not known how long he was in the river. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are trying to piece together and are asking businesses near the site for CCTV footage.

Forensic investigators were also spotted photographing the scene.
