Castle undergoing major restoration project could reopen this summer
The 15th century manor house ruin near Holt was closed off by English Heritage in 2021 as much of its masonry had become loose and unstable.
A project to stabilise the stonework started in April 2024 but the charity was unsure about when the site could re-open.
Now they have announced that the historic asset could reopen in the early summer.
