Arif Dastan, who runs Sunshine Café on Cadogan Road opposite Cromer bus station has said that Norfolk County Council’s project is threatening his livelihood.

Aside from a few loyal locals, the café relies on the trade brought in from bus drivers and passengers, who are no longer coming in due to the station closure.

Mr Dastan said he has experienced 90pc decline in profit and customers since council works to rebuild the bus station and shelter began opposite his business in mid-January.

The road outside the café is also closed, meaning fewer people are passing.
