The ongoing saga over 9 Norwich Street in Fakeham has now seen a petition demanding action over the "eyesore" site signed by a quarter of the town’s population.

More than 2,000 people have backed the campaign to restore 9 Norwich Street, with a petition now submitted to North Norfolk District Council

The site, located a stone's throw from the marketplace, was declared unsafe in 2019 and has been surrounded by scaffolding since 2022 after being served with an urgent works notice.
