Plans had been lodged seeking outline permission for six three-bedroom dwellings on Brandon Road, Watton, beside Cranswick Country Foods, a 24-hour abattoir and food-processing plant.

The proposed homes' proximity to the plant has led Breckland Council to throw out the plans.
