Aldiss has applied to North Norfolk District Council to replace an ageing building at its site on Norwich Road, which the firm says is no longer fit for purpose.

The company, founded in Fakenham in 1892, said that the current warehouse was outdated and needed to be replaced with a modern structure.

The proposed new site would sit on a similar footprint but extend slightly further west over existing concrete areas.
