Michael Boyce, who lives in Great Snoring, discovered the white and red posts had been removed when he went to empty his bins early one morning last week.

The six posts had sat on his property for two years, having been initially installed on the grass verge at the front of his house to stop cars and farm vehicles from churning up his lawn.

He said the bollards were still there when he returned home on Tuesday afternoon, before he arose the next day to find they had been pulled out from their foundations.
