Driver is £6,000 out of pocket after dealership blunder led to his arrest

Ivaylo Pashov, 43, from Dereham, was detained at the Serbian-Bulgarian crossing in August last year when officials suspected that his Hyundai Tucson had been stolen.

Border guards found the chassis number did not match official records, and he was held in custody for 24 hours.

Mr Pashov had been on the way to meet his son (Alex) and wife (Clare) for a holiday as he is unable to fly due to a medical condition. (Image: Supplied)

The car, however, had been bought legitimately from a Motorvogue dealership in Norwich in 2022 and driven without issue........
