Running from August 1 to 24, Fakenham Arts Festival sought to “reimagine the town centre” by displaying work from more than 45 artists in 60 venues across the high street.

Organisers hoped the installations, ranging from colourful abstracts to thought-provoking sculptures, would entice visitors into high street businesses.

Debbie Osborn, one of the participating artists, said the event had “put Fakenham firmly on the arts map of Norfolk”.
