Keen photographer Graham Brownlow spotted a curlew, one of the fastest declining birds in the UK, in Thornham on October 1.

Mr Brownlow said that he went to the scenic beach to try and snap a picture of a greenshank, another bird, "but was very pleased to get the curlew".
