The blaze started at 9.15pm last night at the Pavilion in Water Lanes, Hemsby.

The building is home to Hemsby Football Club and is on Waters Lane Playing Field, where fixtures are played.

Parish councillors also meet there.

Chairman of Hemsby Parish Council, Keith Kyriacou, says that the fire started in the electrics room, "wiping it out" and leaving the building with no power.
