The admin of @SiptheSystem, a local "left-wing anti-fascism" page, was chased and attacked in Jarrold Way in Bowthorpe at about 7.20pm on October 23.

It happened after he visited the Brook Hotel to deliver food and donate some of his own spare clothing to those living inside.

But conflict quickly erupted after his friend began taking down some bunting from a nearby roundabout - not realising it had been put up for Remembrance Day.

A crowd of about 12 anti-migrant protesters had also gathered outside........
